BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS, March 14, 2022 – After a spectacular day of world-class racing, there’s nothing quite like an ice-cold beverage right there on the dock. Carib, a sponsor of the 49th annual British Virgin Islands Spring Regatta & Sailing Festival, March 29-April 3, will provide its beer to quench the thirstiest of racers. At Nanny Cay Regatta Village, competitors can look forward to cold Carib beer, T-shirts, and other great deals.
“Caribbean Cellars and Carib is delighted to be a part of this event,” said Tamarei Hodge, Marketing Manager for Caribbean Cellars. “We are happy to be a sponsor of the 2022 BVI Spring Regatta with Carib, our main beer. We have been involved with many events and regattas, and this is an exciting year to be part of the 49th edition of this event.”
Following on in the spirit of post-racing festivities, Tito Vodka joins BVI Spring Regatta and Sailing Festival as a sponsor. The globally renowned vodka brand has, from its inception, been committed to helping protect and rescue animals so inspired by this goodwill, the BVI/Tortola chapter of the Humane Society and PAW will bring animals who need homes to the Regatta Village each day.
Both sponsor beverages will be served at the Carib and Tito Bar by the Regatta Village situated on the water’s edge near the entrance to the Outer Marina of Nanny Cay, offering spectators the perfect viewpoint to watch the boats as they leave Nanny Cay for the race course and return end of day.
“The regatta committee is excited to welcome Carib back as the official beer for the 2022 BVI Spring Regatta and Sailing Festival,” Chereez Frett, Nanny Cay Hotel Manager and coordinator of regatta activities, commented. “Carib is one of the most refreshing beers after a long day on the water and we know sailors and visitors are going to enjoy an icy cold Carib after racing.”
